Why experts say Cruz is eligible for the presidency

He added, “Trump saying, “I want to make America great again” is like Tom Credo saying, ‘We want our country back.'” Wilmer continued, “All of this stuff about Muslims and all of this stuff about Hispanics – it’s no longer coded language, it’s very clear for everyone to understand”. Trump said. “You have to get rid of them first, I like one thing at a time”.

Trump told the Washington Post in an interview published Tuesday that Cruz’s Canadian birthplace and his holding a double passport was a “very precarious” issue that “a lot of people are talking about”.

In what has now become his signature style, Trump “reports” on something he says is already occurring in order to stir up a discussion.

After the Trump-fueled controversy over Obama’s birthplace, the question over Cruz’s was a natural one that’s already come up.

Authorities in Hawaii and Mr Obama both provided detailed birth records after some conservatives such as Mr Trump questioned where he was born. But yesterday, Ted Cruz found room to his rival’s right on this issue, too. The latest comments came as Trump has increased his attacks on Cruz since he’s pulled ahead of Trump in some Iowa polling.

Back to Ted Cruz, he won’t have any actual problem in being eligible for presidency, as he was born in Canada and his mother was a US citizen. His mother, Eleanor, is from DE, while his father, Rafael, is a Cuban who became a USA citizen in 2005.

“At a 30,000 foot level, what we are trying to get people to focus on [is] the astronomical cost of what’s being proposed with this mass deportation”, Fwd.us President Todd Schulte said in an interview. “Yes, I’m sure. The media, with all due respect, love to engage in silly sideshows”. “Somebody who actually wasn’t born in the United States and only 18 months ago renounced his Canadian citizenship”.

Governor Mitt Romney was born in Mexico, and Senator John McCain was born on a military base in the Panama Canal zone. “Listen, the Constitution and the laws of the United States are straightforward”.

“He posted as his response “@realDonaldTrump calling into question my natural-born citizenship”, with a YouTube clip of the character Fonzie from Happy Days “jumping the shark”. Responding to a reporter’s question Bush responded with a chuckle, “Yeah. I do”. Trump, who at recent events has pondered aloud about the fact that he could lose Iowa to Cruz, has nevertheless recently begun intentionally poking at his faith, nationality, and as of Tuesday, his citizenship.

On the other hand, we have no idea how many illegals Donald Trump would offer citizenship to, and Ted Cruz has said unambiguously that whether deported or not, he would not offer citizenship to illegal aliens.
