Why I want Paul Pogba to join Manchester United – Wayne Rooney
Rooney remains hopeful that Pogba could return to Old Trafford as he believes the Juventus midfielder has “unfinished business” with the Premier League giants.

Mourinho has seen his side complete three signings this summer as United have added defender Eric Bailly, striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic and midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan. “He is a leader on the pitch and off. We [have lost] a heavyweight in our dressing room”, Wenger said. “That’s how it should be”, he told the Daily Mail. It wouldn’t work with Nani.
“But Jose has come in, he has seen me play in another position for 10 years scoring goals, and that’s what he wants me to do”. The way he speaks to individuals, the way he talks to the group, the way he makes players feel so confident. He’s done it with me, he’s done it with all of us – that is one of his qualities.
“Nobody knew who they were and they dined undisturbed other then a very quick photo opp that took no more then 10 seconds”, Mr Chinn wrote on Instagram.
Having been moved into various midfield roles for club and country in the past few seasons, Rooney revealed that Mourinho will be using him as a strike partner for Ibrahimovic, a role he is relishing.
Mourinho went to speak to Rooney before Euro 2016 and left the England captain reassured in the direction the former Chelsea manager wants United to be heading.
When asked if he expects to find a new centre-back on the market, the Arsenal boss said: “I do”. I wasn’t apprehensive at all.
He has established himself as one of the best midfielders in Europe.
“You didn’t even need to get into a tackle”.
We’re all a bit sick of these messages, pictures, Adidas adverts, Mino Raiola and the whole situation but when it finishes with Pogba holding up a United shirt I’d say it was all worth it.
While he’d be happy to play with him again, the 30-year-old feels their opponents wouldn’t enjoy going up against a player as physically powerful as Pogba. I will miss him deeply.

Mourinho will want to have his glamorous new signing ready for the Premier League season, and a warm-up in the Community Shield would apparently be the ideal preparation, according to The Sun.
