Why Johnny Depp won’t let Amber Heard go
On Tuesday, Amber Heard’s legal team filed new documents claiming Johnny Depp and his team are attempting to “thwart” their divorce proceedings, and that he is “smearing [Heard] at every turn”.

“Amber’s need for financial information to resolve this case is distinct from the public’s appetite for celebrity divorce”, last week’s documents also stated.
But it seems like the former couple might have found themselves in a “check mate” type situation, because Johnny Depp wants Amber to sign a non-disclosure agreement to maintain confidentiality surrounding the divorce and his finances. She says it’s just a way to block the case from continuing.
She was granted a temporary restraining order against the Through The Looking Glass star after she claimed he attacked her with an iPhone, leaving her with a bruised eye. In the court documents, Depp’s attorney, Laura Wasser, alleges the that Heard and her counsel, Samantha Spector, have already participated in at least one media story, leaking specific provisions from prior settlement communications.
The Magic Mike XXL star has accused her estranged husband from obstructing her request to end their marriage by insisting she signs a non-disclosure agreement before he submits documents about his financial status.
While Johnny’s people suggested August 3 and 8 as court dates, she can’t make the hearings due to her filming responsibilities with Justice League.
Heard filed for divorce May 23 after 15 months of marriage.

Her decision to reject was apparently on the basis that she hadn’t been the violent party, and that a mutual restraining order would be pointless, not to mention an obvious bid from Depp’s camp to extend blame under public scrutiny. Follow Be on Facebook,Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.
