Why Jon Snow Should Never Be King on ‘Game of Thrones’

But the White Wolf’s next moves should be among the most front-of-mind considerations leaving season six, because when Game of Thrones returns, there won’t be much time to puzzle it all out – not with White Walkers approaching knocking distance of the Wall. The show managed to deliver some of its greatest moments, some inspired by book events and some of its own creation.

Richard Plepler, David Benioff, Emilia Clarke, D.B. Weiss, Lena Headey and Michael Lombardo attend the “Game Of Thrones” Season 4 New York premiere at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center on March 18, 2014 in New York City. We’ve seen the show step on him both literally and figuratively for six seasons straight.

So let’s take a moment to look over the main fan theories now buzzing around the internet following the conclusion of season 6. “She’ll have a lot of fun, it’ll make for a good story”.

From a show point of view, it also means Ned kept his promise from the second episode of season 1 that Ned would tell Jon about his mother the next time they met. It is an especially exciting season since Daenerys will be posing a challenge for Cersei in “Game of Thrones” season 7.

Still, Jon is Dany’s only logical remaining option, and their pairing would actually fulfill an ancient pact between the two houses, dating back to before all the Mad King’s madness.

To unravel the thread of Jon’s parentage, Bran Stark’s (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) vision from the past threw some much needed light. Due to the revelation that his parents are Lyanna Stark and Rhaeger Targaryen, he’s now got a legitimate claim to the throne, and he’s a somewhat seasoned ruler with a level head. “Who is she without her children?”

Talking about the duo’s relationship, Turner commented: “I think Sansa trusts Jon to make morally right decisions, but I’m not sure if she trusts him with the kind of political things”. We will see her with Petyr and Jon trying to keep Winterfell and Starks in the North safe. The army includes the Unsullied, the Dothraki, the fleet of the Ironborn led by Jara Greyjoy, the women of Dorne, Olenna Tyrell, and of course, her three mighty dragons.

“Game of Thrones” was always able to create a feeling of excitement or horror for the future of its characters.

At the end of the interview, Snow ended the interview with “you know nothing” – a reference to the famous Game Of Thrones line. When Lyanna Stark is dying after giving birth to the baby who would become Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch, Ned (Robert Aramayo) leans in to her and she whispers something, but only bits are heard, including how Robert would kill him if he knew.
