With just 18 days left for Ganesh Chaturthi, the makers of “Banjo” starring Riteish Deshmukh have unveiled the most awaited “Bappa Song” and it’ll surely make you groove this festive season. The song is composed by the talented music composer duo Vishal Shekhar and the lyrics are jotted down by none other than Amitabh Bhattacharya. If music isn’t good then the film fails. “They are the backbone of the film”, he said. The song has an Indianness with a touch of fusion.
“Banjo” is directed by National Award winning Marathi filmmaker Ravi Jadhav.
The movie, which will be released on August 19, marks the Hindi film debut of Ravi Jadhav.
Talking about the song, Riteish Deshmukh plays the role of a Banjo player in the upcoming movie and is paired opposite the B-town hottie Nargis Fakhri, who is seen in the role of a New York-based DJ.
