So what’s in store for the HTC 10?
HTC has unveiled its latest flagship smartphone and it’s just called the HTC 10.
Meanwhile, aside from the body profile and the general design, not much is seen in the supposed leaked promo video for the HTC 10.
Tomorrow we will know if the rest of the data sheet is consistent with other information we could gather while awaiting the arrival of this new device. The One A9, had been introduced devoid of the BoomSound speakers but the company has added this feature to their “fastest and smoothest Android smart phone” the HTC 10, as claimed by the teasers of HTC. However, in worldwide markets, HTC will also be offering a “gold” color option for the HTC 10 handset; and, in Japan, the handset will be available in a special “red” color. The flagship will reportedly be expanded with an HTC 10 Mini by September. It’s a 12MP ultrapixel layout on the back, complete with dual LED flash and laser autofocus, while the front has a 5MP sensor.
The focus this time has been on the camera – both the front and rear units feature a large f/1.8 aperture for better low-light shots and optical image stabilisation for preventing blurry photos. However, it is successor to the original HTC One (M7), the HTC One M8 and the HTC One M9.
HTC has started teasing several key features of HTC 10 on its social media channels. The phone is equipped with a 3000mAh battery, which HTC says allows the device to run for up to two days through the combination of software and hardware optimizations. The LTE speed has been downgraded too due to the fact that it packs another chipset instead of the Snapdragon 820. If it comes with OIS front camera then HTC 10 will be the first smartphone to have this feature.
