Why The Walking Dead season 6 finale sucks
The Walking Dead season 6 finale’s ending may have had fans screaming WTF, but soon Negan will spout off a plethora of F-words all his own, according to a new report.

When Nicotero was asked if Negan’s victim will return at all for Season 7 (filming his or her death scene), or if it’s the last the viewers have seen of them, he simply replied, “I don’t know”. However, the identity of the ill-fated character was not revealed at the end of the episode, leaving fans a little bit frustrated because they have to wait until the season 7 premiere to find out which character was on the receiving end of Negan’s Lucille. I and many others feel like this was a waste of what until the ending was a stellar season. I do know, and the writers know, producers know… we know why we do what we do.
Finally, remember when Carol single-handedly took down the Terminus countdown at the beginning of season five? It makes the challenge for us to win those angry people back with a great story that much more important, that much harder, but that’s the business we’re in….
No matter how annoyed and/or angered you may have been by the cliffhanger, you simply can’t deny that Season 6 of “The Walking Dead” was the very best season of the show to date, and we’re happy to report that it’s already headed home. We had early conversations about, would we show who it was at the end of the season?
And if AMC and Scott Gimple thinks that the fans are going to come back either way, they might want to reconsider that notion.
“That would be the hope, yeah, that’s the impression I have – we will pick up directly from what we saw last night that ends Season 6, on that note, and Season 7 is gonna pick up right where we left off”. Total viewership for Sunday’ show was up 2% from that “Start To Finish” episode, while 18-49 went down a negligible 1%.
“I know what happens, and it’s gut-wrenching”, one of the most favorite zombie killers on American television pointed out in an interview with Today.
What do you think of the season 6 finale cliffhanger?
Expect the first real glimpse of season 7 to arrive over the weekend of July the 21st to 24th 2016, when The Walking Dead panel at San Diego’s Comic-Con will debut the season’s first trailer.
So why did they end the show on such a massive cliffhanger?
