UNCW (24-7) earned the No. 3 seed in the CAA Championship Tournament and eventually earned a spot in its first title match since 1988.
The victor of the showdown between the Bobcats and the Cougars will square off with the victor of Friday’s 7 p.m. ET tilt between Western Kentucky (31-3) and Arizona (19-13) on Saturday (Dec. 5) in a 9 p.m. ET second-round matchup. The victor will take on the victor of the Gophers (26-4) and Jackson State (15-21), which will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
