Wife of Dolphins CB lashes out at Tannehill on Twitter
The wife of Miami Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes went on a Twitter rant against quarterback Ryan Tannehill and others after Sunday’s 18-12 loss to the Indianapolis Colts. At least five. Joe Philbin told me in the preseason he told Grimes in a meeting that he needed to address with his wife her social media behavior because, like it or not, it reflected poorly on the organization.

The Miami Dolphins’ secondary hasn’t played all that well this season, despite solid showings by Reshad Jones and Brent Grimes throughout the year. However, the charges of disorderly conduct and battery on a police officer were later dropped. As harsh as her words were, Miko isn’t exactly wrong.
“I shouldve known we were gonna lose when i heard we didnt complete A SINGLE PASS in 2min drills this week against the practice squad defense.”
Naturally the protected Tweets promptly leaked to Slice Miami.
So, yeah, not the best look for Tannehill here.
She also tweeted: “In conclusion … the triple A’s have an agenda”.
The “Triple As” Grimes refers to are three local Dolphins reporters: the Miami Herald’s Adam Beasley and Armando Salguero and the Palm Beach Post’s Andrew Abramson.
Miko Grimes trashes Ryan Tannehill on Twitter, part one. They’re just a bad football team all around.
It was a sentiment echoed by Miko herself, who tweeted on Sunday, “My column: How many people does ryan tannehill have to get fired before you realize he’s the problem”. They’ve lost three games in a row and are assured of finishing last in the AFC East for the first time since 2007, when they went 1-15.
The difference between then and now is that this Twitter tirade might actually cause a rift in the Dolphins locker room since Miko verbally attacked another player.
“I’ve never sensed that there has been any animosity or disconnect between those two guys”, Campbell said.

“This is not the first time that these things have happened”, Campbell said. Certainly my wife sometimes thinks different than I do.
