Wileyfox Is The UK’s New Smartphone Challenger
This is also a dual SIM handset and it features a Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor, 5-inch display with HD resolution of 1280 x 720, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD to 32GB).

The sales will be conducted across Europe, Africa and the Middle East and if you reside in US or Australia you may have to wait till the company is clear with its launch plans in your regions.
NEWBIE SMARTPHONE MAKER Wileyfox has introduced a duo of privacy-focused smartphones powered by the Android-based Cyanogen software. They also have a 2,500 mAh capacity battery, which is removable in the Swift but non-removable in the Storm. Both will be available exclusively online from September and October respectfully from e-tailers including Amazon, eBay, Expansys, Clove, JD and Souq.
Beginning with the Wileyfox Storm, this is a dual SIM handset with Snapdragon 615 processor, a 5.5-inch display with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage (expandable to 128GB with microSD).
“Our target customer values choice, security and reassurance”.
Wileyfox is primarily relying on the Cyanogen OS 12.1 skin to differentiate the Swift and Storm from existing budget smartphones, but both seem to be quite highly specced for their respective price points.
Muir told IBTimes UK at the launch in the UK that while the comparison with OnePlus was understandable, he said Wileyfox would be offering something different, and at £129, the company’s Swift smartphone costs nearly half the price of the OnePlus 2. With hundreds of themes available, you can customise your fonts, boot animations, wallpapers and third party apps, as well as lock screen shortcuts and quick tile settings. “And that’s what Wileyfox is all about”.
With Cyanogen on board – basically a super-tweaked version of Android Lollipop 5.1 – the Wileyfox Swift should prove user-friendly even to newcomers.

One example of the type of services which McMaster is talking about is Trucaller which is integrated into the Cyanogen dialler app and lets you identify in-coming calls from numbers not in your contacts. Other features of the WileyFox phones include AudioFX for music quality and LiveDisplay for optimum screen performance.
