Wilfried Bony set to make Stoke bow against Spurs
“All reports are it went really well”. The scar tissue which was restricting his ankle has all been cleared up.

The England global fractured his ankle during the 3-2 friendly victory against Germany in Berlin last March, and has yet to play this season, with Shay Given deputising in goal for Stoke.
With the 23-year-old remaining sidelined, Shay Given, 40, is set to keep his place in goal for the Staffordshire outfit for an extended run.
Grant, recruited from Derby, is one of three players Stoke signed on loan on transfer deadline day last week.
Wilfried Bony and Bruno Martins Indi could both make their debuts for Stoke City when Tottenham visit the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday.
Hughes knows if Bony rediscovers his prolific form from Swansea then it could jeopardise any hope he has of making the deal permanent.
Goalscoring has been something of a problem for Stoke and Hughes is optimistic Bony can help improve things on that front.
“It’s really exciting not only for Wilfried but for the team as well. It’s something you like to see”.
“He’s scoring three, four and five goals every session and he’s disappointed when he even misses one”.
Hughes added: “We’re very, very hopeful that the issue he had has been resolved”.
The Birmingham Mail has reported that the forward, who came through the youth system at West Brom, is considering the possibility of signing a pre-contract deal with a foreign club in January before returning to the Premier League side of his choice next summer.

Saturday will prove a stern test for the Potters, going up against a team they lost 4-0 to at home last season and Hughes admits his side will need to be at their best to match a “dynamic” team.
