A local resident got a surprise visit from comedian Will Ferrell on Wednesday’s “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon”. Now that we have a new, hipper Santa Claus one of these gifts will definitely be in our stocking.

Ferrell sports a new Santa haircut with a Bluetooth ear piece and a t-shirt gun, which doesn’t work very well.
“The Kris Kringle we all grew up with is old and lame”, Will joked. “Looks like someone’s old, weird grandpa”.
Instead of delivering presents on Christmas Eve, Ferrell’s new Santa is chilling “down in Cabo”.

After attempting to impress Fallon with his triceps, Ferrell managed to rope the host into a musical number, a Christmas themed rendition of Smash Mouth’s “All Star”.
There is a new Santa Claus in town, and he is way cooler.
“Check it, technically I don’t give it to them”, Ferrell responded. “The field of Republicans out there is so messed up, I figured it makes you miss me, doesn’t it?”

Ferrell also took serious aim at 2016 Presidential hopeful Donald Trump during his big SNL return, who an in character Will described as being a “knucklehead” and even a “big fat orange Oompa Loompa”.
