Will Hulk Smash His Way Into ‘Thor 3: Ragnarok’?
Captain America’s sprint through the Civil War will showcase almost a dozen different superheroes.

Joblo reports that Mark Ruffalo is set to appear in Thor: Ragnarok as both Bruce Banner and The Incredible Hulk. Here’s a twist, though.
Rumors have been circulating for years about what Marvel Studios would do with Mark Ruffalo’s The Hulk following 2012’s The Avengers, and after the end of Avengers: Age of Ultron, the character’s fate is still very much up in the air, literally. Marvel fans (and, yes, ourselves included) have spent a decent amount of time deducing places where the wandering behemoth could be heading. So there is a chance that Marvel could follow its 2010 animated film counterpart, where Beta Ray Bill replaced Silver Surfer, and Hulk does not conquer the planet, nor does he desire revenge on Earth. In fact, if Thor embarks on a celestial adventure with the God of Thunder, it nearly makes those other possibilities more likely. As Hulk listens to a recording from the Avengers explaining their actions, his shuttle crashes on the planet Sakaar. Working up new solo Hulk films have seemingly been a bane in Marvel’s existence, so pairing him with Thor is a potential solution for that, and if Ragnarok is as important as has been said for setting up the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (there have been comparisons to Captain America: The Winter Soldier), why not have Big Green involved?
With Loki running Asgard in disguise as Odin, we’ll be curious to see how Asgard is holding up, but a new report from JoBlo suggests that Thor will be joined by The Hulk in the upcoming Thor threequel. And if you’re going to go up against Thanos, you should probably bring a Hulk. Or he could linger, alone in the galaxies for longer.
You’d be forgiven for getting the impression that Marvel don’t really know what to do with the Hulk.

Don’t expect any official announcements to this end for quite a few time, as Thor: Ragnarok isn’t due in theaters until November 3, 2017.
