Oklahoma has a scary weapon on offense and his name is Dede Westbrook. KSU cornerback D.J. Reed returned a Raider pass 35 yards for a 14-7 lead in the first quarter, his second interception of the year. This performance follows a ridiculous game against Texas where Westbrook posted 10 catches for 232 yards and three touchdowns. It was a lack of focus on my part. “He’s got incredible speed and quickness and he’s a great route runner and sure-handed”.
After catching a shovel pass from Baker Mayfield, the Oklahoma Sooners running back was about to get stuffed short of the goal line. The 26-yarder to Westbrook in the second quarter put the Sooners ahead 21-7.
“I trust all of those guys, ” Mayfield said. Teams have tried to load up to stop our run game, and it’s given us those match-ups.
Stoops noted that Perine was held out for precautionary reasons.
“It was just a team policy deal”, Stoops said.
It doesn’t get any bigger and it doesn’t get any better. Kansas State did improve to 3-2 on the season but dropped to 2-3 against the spread, as the Wildcats have now failed to cover in two of their last three games.

Oklahoma: They need to keep feeding the ball to Mixon, even when Perine is healthy. His longest reception that day was 71 yards. The senior likely re-established himself as the Bears’ top runner among their trio with a career-high 237 yards at Iowa State before an open date. Really, a good defense missed him on a number of occasions and get extra yards.
Iowa State. led by Big 12 Preseason Player of the Year Monte Morris, came in No. 4.
Which Mixon play to choose?
