There have been speculations that the two are in an open marriage. “But for me it’s the dark before the dawn”, he said.

Confessing that their marriage hit breaking point before, the 47-year-old actor told of the power that counselling had on his relationship.

Another organization Smith is passionate about is JUST Water, a company that produces water in a bottle made largely out of renewable resources.

“What happens in a marriage once you do counselling, the truth comes out”, he said, adding that afterwards: “you look at each other and you can’t imagine you could ever possibly love each other again now the truth is out”. “What happens in a marriage once you do counseling, the truth comes out”. In December, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett will celebrate their 19 years of marriage.

Pinkett Smith is Smith’s second wife.

The couple married in December 1997 and have two kids together, Willow Smith and Jaden Smith. Smith has a son, Trey, 23, by his first wife Sheree Zampino. “If someone at your school’s trying to pick on you, it doesn’t matter because Jaden Smith’s got your back”. The couple has dealt with some problems over the years, and they’ve even come face-to-face with them in couples counseling.

The couple have been dogged with rumours suggesting they have an open marriage but Will insists it due to counselling that the pair have managed to stay faithful. He’s a grown man. I’m not his watcher.

Meanwhile, Will recently gushed that Jade was “magical”, and went on to finish with: ‘It’s like you take Jada Pinkett Smith and an obscure town in Mexico and some tequila and you end up with great kids!’ I trust that the man that Will is is a man of integrity.
