Will ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Have an End-Credits Scene?
The subject came up when Abrams was on stage for a Star Wars: The Force Awakens press conference held today in Los Angeles. All of the scenes are in the movie’. While the fans impatiently count down the seconds, J.J. Abrams continues to reveal his thoughts on the film, while avoiding any major spoilers!

Keeping with tradition! The director shut down rumours and simply stated, “No, there’s not”.
“No, there’s not”, J.J. answered (via EW). “The movie changes people”.
Life-long “Star Wars” fan Matthew Rieley, owner of The Freaktoyz in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, bought all 75 tickets for one of the opening night screenings on Dec 17 of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” at a local Marcus movie theater. After reading for the part with director J.J. Abrams five times, she won the role that would turn her into a household name.
But now the mystery has been solved by Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, who has announced that the character we’ve been waiting for won’t be in The Force Awakens at all.
Sorry Jar-Jar Binks fans, this is not the film you’re looking for…… The video, in Mandarin and English, was directed by Raman Hui, the filmmaker behind Monster Hunt, which became the highest-grossing film ever in China over the summer (video below). They’re experiences that allow us to feel that connectivity, which is truly what “Star Wars” is all about – the Force and the idea that we’re all connected. “I’m really excited to see what’s going to happen”. Everything is bad these days anyway, so what are the odds that the guy who made those Star Trek movies nobody was all that into will be able to make a Star Wars movie on par with the original trilogy?
With little more than a week to go before Star Wars: The Force Awakens hits theaters, the plot of the hotly anticipated film is still a closely guarded secret.
The film picks up the story three decades after the events of the sixth Star Wars’ instalment, 1983’s Return of the Jedi.
ABRAMS: It’s a bittersweet choice. And if it’s a disaster, no one would want me to direct the next one anyway.

Boyega also turned to an interesting source of inspiration before his final audition to play Finn: He watched Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford’s original Star Wars auditions on YouTube.
