Will terrorists come into US as refugees?
The growing concerns mounting among US citizens over allowing Syrian refugees into the country come in the wake of the November 13 terrorist attacks in Paris for which the Islamic State, or ISIS, claimed responsibility. It’s an 18- to 24-month process where people are checked by multiple USA security and intelligence agencies, interviewed personally by American officials of the Department of Homeland Security and very closely vetted.

As many have emphasized, Syrians are leaving their country precisely because they must endure on a daily basis the violence and terror that Paris and other cities have suffered.
