Will transfer from Florida
Harris appeared in 12 games at quarterback during his sophomore season in 2015.

Florida moves on at the quarterback position heading into fall training camp with Luke Del Rio, Austin Appleby, Feleipe Franks and Kyle Trask.
The decision comes less than a week after Florida coach Jim McElwain confirmed that Harris would be playing wide receiver for the Gators. Ryan Bartow of 247Sports first reported the news Monday. Simply put, he was not in consideration for the job.
Harris was indefinitely suspended in the spring for undisclosed reasons but was allowed to return to campus and work out with the team during the summer. He had previously been suspended in October 2014 during a sexual battery investigation. However, ITG has learned that Harris hadn’t been with the team during recent workouts.
The Gators started 6-0 before starting quarterback Will Grier was suspended by the NCAA.

Harris also was suspended for last season’s Tennessee game. Now, every quarterback to sign with Florida during the Will Muschamp era has since opted to transfer. If he transfers to an FCS team, he can play immediately. As for where he’s going to transfer, there hasn’t been any indication given on a possible destination as of yet, though he is a South Florida product and might have some other interest within the state.
