Will Trump Lighten Up on Immigration to Save His Campaign?

After Donald Trump convened several Hispanic leaders in New York Saturday to discuss strategy for a campaign struggling with minorities, media outlets reported that the Republican nominee seemed to be softening his previous primary stance on illegal immigrants in the United States. They are like bodies and then a parasite is injected into them – Trump for example. My post about Trump’s recent pivot [linked to above] is about the current state of the Trump Campaign.

The Republican nominee said that in the heat of speaking in public or in a debate, he might not be able to choose the right words to say especially when he’s talking about different issues at a time. “So while sometimes I can be too honest, Hillary Clinton is the exact opposite: she never tells the truth”. The 2016 presidential election is looking like a contest that will be won by the candidate that does the best job getting out their base.

Donald Trump has had a very busy week, between his speech directed at the African-American voters, his lawyer’s interview going mega-viral, and the unveiling of naked statues of his likeness around the States.

“Unfortunately, it took them two months to figure out that Donald Trump is Donald Trump”, former Trump adviser Barry Bennet said of Manafort and his team.

The election is not a done deal.

The Trump campaign has hired security firm CrowdStrike, which also is assisting the Democratic National Committee, according to one person briefed on the matter. The fact that half the country has already decided not to vote for him shows just how screwed Trump really is.

However, Conway made clear that she still will not stand for Trump “insults”.

Trump made the last-minute trip to Louisiana to survey the destruction that has claimed 13 lives – a visit that is days ahead of President Obama, who announced his plans to fly to Baton Rouge on Tuesday.

“Trump literally started his campaign by insulting people”.

Mr Moran said: “My concern with Trump is that he will help lock in Latino voting patterns for the foreseeable future”.

The group announced earlier this month it planned to go dark in certain markets in Virginia and Colorado, but said at the time that they meant to return to the air on August 16.

Fuentes, who said he was sitting right across the table from Trump, described the Republican nominee’s interest in Hispanic issues as “sincere” and said he was “impressed” by Trump’s understanding of the different issues important to Hispanic voters of various backgrounds. The candidate said in a statement: “This morning Paul Manafort offered, and I accepted, his resignation from the campaign”. If they came from a certain country, they’re going to be brought back to that country.

Democratic US Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton yesterday told her Republican opponent Donald Trump on Twitter that it was too late to apologise for the highly controversial remarks he’s been making throughout his campaign.

“He’s expressed his regret publicly and said, “If I have caused you personal pain – that can include me, that can include you” – that he regrets that”, Conway said.

Trump to black voters: 'What the hell do you have to lose?'
