Now, most stores such as JCPenny, Best Buy, Walmart, Office Depot, Target, Kohl’s, Macy’s and Belk, start their sale Thanksgiving Day.
On Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday, Amazon shoppers will be able to access ten additional “Deals of the Day”.
TV, laptop and tablet deals will be similar to previous years.
Black Friday shoppers generally look for big-ticket items such as flat screen TVs that carry a larger discount than apparel promotions, said Charlie O’Shea, retail analyst for Moody’s. The ticket gives a customer a limited time to purchase the item at that sales price. As a result, some items have already sold out.
