Willem Dafoe cast in Justice League

The film has confirmed there will be Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, they’ve tapped another Spider-Man star to join the cast.

Any theories as to which character Willem Dafoe could be playing in Justice League?

This casting is particularly noteworthy because he played Norman Osmond a.k.a. The Green Goblin in the original Spider-Man trilogy starring Tobey Maguire.

The film began production last week with Zac Snyder fresh off his worldwide tour for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. That said, there’s certainly a possibility that Alan Scott could be among their number even if that doesn’t match up with his comic book history. Are you excited about the actor joining the cast? “Part I” will arrive on November 17, 2017, with “Part II” hitting theaters on June 14, 2019.

Warner Bros. has snagged another actor from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man franchise for its burgeoning superhero universe, as THR reports that Willem Dafoe has signed onto the cast of Justice League. Details of his character, however, are being kept under lock and key.

Directed by Zack Snyder with a screenplay by Chris Terrio, the DC comics epic brings together the iconic group of heroes to combat a new enemy threatening the earth.
