Willem Dafoe recreates Marilyn Monroe shot for Super Bowl 50 Snickers commerical
From a hungry, dress-wearing Willem Dafoe to frozen-in-time Scott Baio, celebrity endorsements that aired during Super Bowl 50 were a big hit. This year, one of the best ads brings everything we love together: celebrities, humor, and of course CHOCOLATE. The actor, who once gave an interview to The Guardian titled “What I Know About Women”, shows his feminine side while recreating the iconic Marilyn Monroe moment from her film The Seven Year Itch.

But when the camera pans up from the gusting subway grate, it’s not Monroe we see, but the sinewy legs and villainous face of actor Willem Dafoe. Eat a Snickers… you get a little cranky when you’re hungry.
After Willem bitches about the conditions “she” receives a much needed treat, and thankfully transforms into the beauty that is Marilyn herself. She easily slips back into the scene and strikes her famous pose. There’s a brief Eugene Levy cameo at the end: “This scene will never make the cut”.
The Super Bowl is an odd time for movie fans.
Take a look at the Super Bowl ad below, and be prepared to get our official take on it!
