William and Kate begin tour of Canada with their children
The Duke of Cambridge continued and said that because of that they are pleased that their children, George and Charlotte, can be with them in Canada to begin their lifetime of friendship with the “wonderful country”.

Charlotte nibbled on her finger while being held by Kate as they were greeted by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his wife.
The family of four were beginning a highly anticipated eight-day visit to the Commonwealth country which is a homecoming for the royals as Britain’s monarch is also Queen of Canada.
William and Kate had only been married for three months when they arrived in 2011. They are rarely seen in public together, and the tour is Charlotte’s first official royal visit, but George travelled to Australia and New Zealand when he was just nine months old in 2014.
Prince William reflected on his first visit to Canada with his wife Kate as newlyweds on Saturday in highlighting that their latest trip will focus on the environment, support for young families and mental health initiatives, causes they have championed. She coordinated well with her mother, who was wearing a blue Jenny Packham dress, with a Locke and Co hat, proudly displaying the Queen’s maple leaf diamond brooch.
At one point Charlotte cuddled into her mum as Kate stroked her back before bending down to talk to George.

“Though let me caution you from my own experience, if they’re anything like our kids, getting them back on a plane after a visit to our attractive West Coast will really be a challenge”.
The couple have already visited India and Bhutan this year in April, and while William heads off to Vietnam in November, Kate will be taking a trip to the Netherlands in October.
The couple then jointly laid a wreath holding hands briefly to steady the Duchess as they walked backwards down the steps.
The trip is Prince William’s second to the province of British Columbia.
Far from Victoria’s marbled halls and manicured lawns, the royal couple will move to Vancouver on Sunday for a visit to the city’s gritty Downtown Eastside, a dozen square blocks of poverty and addiction.
The Duchess also revealed how excited she was about the visit, saying: “Both of us love mountains and there seems to be a lot of them here”. They will stay at the Government House in Victoria, which would be the base of the family for the eight-day trip.
“I know you’ve visited Canada before”.
