George, 2, and Charlotte, 10 months, joined their mum and dad, Prince William and Kate Middleton, on a fun-filled ski adventure in the French Alps – and stopped for a family photo opp.

They were taken the next day – when Prince George and Princess Charlotte played in the snow for the first time.

Rugged up in skiwear with beanies tied securely under their little chins, the British Royal family’s children were ready to experience their first snow holiday.
Previously they have holidayed in Caribbean island Mustique at this time of year, choosing the private island to try to minimise the chance of photographs being taken. “It’s such a big issue that we need to do something about it”, Prince William said. “The Duke and Duchess hope people enjoy the photos”, a Kensington Palace spokesperson said.
It may come as no surprise then that William, 33, and Kate, 34, made a decision to return to their much-loved region of Les Trois Vallées.
The photos, taken by a single photographer, seemed created to counter complaints that the royal couple is too walled off from the public by concerns over their privacy.
For the past six years, Prince William and his wife Kate have been the darlings of the world’s media, gracing the front pages of newspapers and magazines across the globe with their good looks, easy charm and two photogenic children to boot.

The images show a relaxed William and Kate holding their two children and engaging in a snowball fight. Exalting all efforts to keep paparazzi snapshots to a minimum, the Royal pair released a letter last July documenting their request to stop the media from publishing paparazzi photos of their children.
