William, Kate bring young prince, princess on Canada trip

The prime minister will greet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on Saturday during the official welcoming at the Victoria Legislature. People who are overexcited, jumping up and down and shouting out their adoration, aren’t likely to be selected for a greeting.

They may be a family of four but the headline act in Canada will be their newest addition, Princess Charlotte.

The public’s fascination with the duchess extends not only from the fairy tale story of marrying into the Royal Family, but also her appearance of being approachable and authentic, said Noreen Flanagan, editor-in-chief of Fashion Magazine. Just do not forget to keep it brief and agreeable.

If you’re lucky enough to get to meet the Royal Family, CTVNews.ca has put together some Dos and Don’ts for when you’re in the presence of royalty.

“She has brought a grounded realness to the Royal Family”, Flanagan said. For men it’s a neck bow which is essentially a pronounced head nod and for women, putting your right foot behind left heel followed by a small knee bend will guarantee the flawless curtsy.

While the public will only see the children once at the departure on October 1 and the media will only see the kids a few times during an eight-day visit, Canadians are excited about seeing them. So you go out and do something that is nice and relaxing and hope that while they are chilled and not thinking too much about it, they will open up.

The Royal Couple is expected to take a canoe trip from Skidegate Landing to the Haida Heritage Centre and Museum, and will be accompanied by Haida warrior paddlers, drummers and Elders.

Princess Diana, Prince William’s mother, embraced a wide range of humanitarian causes before her death in 1997.

Trudeau is scheduled only to attend events in Victoria and Vancouver.

Aside from breaking traditions, Kate Middleton and Prince William are also slammed for their lavish lifestyles, not to mention their apparent laziness when it comes to fulfilling their royal obligations and responsibilities.

Of course, no one could forget the lasting impression little George made back in 2014 when he visited a playgroup in New Zealand on his first royal tour.
