As People reports, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paid their respects to Prince William’s mother during their visit to the Taj Mahal on Friday, taking some time to admire the world-famous white marble monument to everlasting love.
The trip marks the end of the duke and duchess’ week-long trip to India and Bhutan, which brought the royal couple to Mumbai, a safari in Kazaringa National Park and a hike in Bhutan.
After their visit to the Taj Mahal, William and Kate will fly back to the United Kingdom to be reunited with their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. The spokesperson revealed that it was really was just a last- minute decision and had no reasons associated with Princess Diana.
