Rolling Stone reports the tour, titled The Django and Jimmie Tour, was set to start in Florence, South Carolina on October 15th.
Nelson and Haggard’s concert that was scheduled for October 16 in Roanoke, Va., has been rescheduled for Oct. 19, and refunds are now available for their concert scheduled for Oct. 17 in Reading, Pa. The rest of their tour dates are on schedule.
The 82-year-old Nelson has been very dependable and remained mostly healthy over the last decade, despite a very intense touring schedule.
“This is all news to us at the moment and we’re still getting details on Willie’s medical condition”, Florence Civic Center senior marketing manager Nick Hooker told Taste of Country. “Thanks for the prayers and love for dad, his health issue is minor and he’s doing great, love to all…” It appears there may now be a hiccup with the April 6, 2016 date; however we are certainly rescheduling the show.
