Wilson dominates, Seahawks rout Ravens
Rawls suffered the broken ankle and torn ligaments in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Coach Pete Carroll said Rawls might not need surgery but added that, “He’s not going to make it back (this season)”.
The Seattle Seahawks have snapped out of their midseason malaise and will go for their fourth consecutive victory when they visit the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday.
The Quarterback did not slow down his pace in the Seattle’s Sunday game either. Seahawks speedster Tyler Lockett caught the other two touchdown passes from Wilson and ended the game with six catches for 104 yards.
“It’s Russ right now, ” shrugged receiver Doug Baldwin, who grabbed three more touchdown passes to give him eight in the past three weeks.
However, starting running back Jonathan Stewart (89 total yards, TD) and tight end Greg Olsen (3 catches, 52 yards) didn’t play much in the second half because of minor injuries and the fact that the game was already well in hand.
The Baltimore Ravens (4-8) will play as spoilers after losing to the Miami Dolphins, 15-13, last week. Clausen had a decent performance, completing 23 of 40 pass attempts for 274 yards, but most of his offensive possessions were shortened by untimely penalties, turnovers or dropped passes.
“I don’t even dwell on the Super Bowl”, Matthews said in a report on the Baltimore Ravens’ website. We moved the ball but once we got down in the red zone we couldn’t score. “He just exemplifies what we are all about – toughness and hard-nosed and committed and grit and all that kind of stuff, and we are going to really miss him”. Playing without Justin Forsett, the Ravens started Javorius Allen. Newton did have another really good game on Sunday, though, passing for 265 yards and three touchdowns against the Atlanta Falcons.
“I don’t know what that timetable is at this point, our trainers can’t tell yet, but that’ll be the next thing we’ll look for and see how that works, and in the meantime we’ll figure it out”.
“Jimmy is smart”, Ravens coach John Harbaugh said.
Wilson’s first touchdown of the day came not because of his well-documented ability to run, but because of patience, time and an eventual coverage breakdown. “Whether pressure is coming, whether they’re rushing four or rushing seven, he’s getting the ball out and making the right decisions, and the receivers are making plays”. Notably, each of those players went on to win the MVP in their respective year. Matt Schaub threw for 308 yards and one touchdown in 32 of 46 passes. After blowing fourth-quarter leads in five of their first nine games, the two-time reigning NFC champions have come alive and outscored the opposition 106-50 during their three-game winning streak. Christine Michael, Seattle’s second-round pick in 2013, is on Washington’s practice squad and could be signed.
Clausen had some somewhat surprising success early, given that he had thrown for just 63 yards against the Seahawks in September while with the Bears.
Under that scenario, Arizona would lose to the Eagles, Green Bay and Seattle to get to 11-5 while the Seahawks would beat Cleveland, St. Louis and Arizona to also get to 11-5.

The Seahawks secondary was also scathed on Sunday: Safety Kam Chancellor and cornerback DeShawn Shead left with injuries that may or may not shape the NFC playoff picture.
