The Seahawks won their fourth straight game in dominating fashion in Baltimore on Sunday, moving to 8-5 and strengthening their playoff standing with another huge game by Russell Wilson. He threw five more touchdown passes today and has now engineered the most prolific 4-game offensive stretch in Seattle Seahawks team history.

Wilson displayed surgical precision throughout the game.
Seattle played most of the game without standout rookie running back Thomas Rawls, who broke his left ankle in the first quarter and is lost for the season.
“I think the ligaments are really the problem”, coach Pete Carroll said. “I don’t think he’s going to have to have an operation, from what I understand”. This leaves the Seahawks even more short-handed at running back since Marshawn Lynch is already out with a sports hernia.

“Our receivers (Baldwin, Tyler Lockett and Jermaine Kearse) did great, and so did Russell”, he said. Since taking over for the injured Joe Flacco, Schaub has completed 52 of 80 passes for 540 yards with three touchdowns and four interceptions.

It is clear that Wilson is getting even more comfortable passing from the pocket.
“He’ll tell you he ignores the noise, but he’s human, and criticism is part of it”, Baldwin said of the complaints that pointed out Wilson’s deficiencies, including some from Carroll.

But after Sunday’s win, this team was feeling good. And Fred Jackson, the 34-year-old, third-down back, allowed an accurate Wilson pass to go through his hands over the middle to end a two-minute drill before halftime. Wilson was not sacked for the second time this season, with the Ravens credited with just one quarterback hit in 33 Seahawks passing attempts. Wilson lead the Seahawks to an impressive 35-6 victory in Week 14, helping the team move into the first wild card slot in the NFC.
