Wind advisory in effect for southeast MI until 10 a.m. Thursday
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory from 10 p.m. tonight to 4 a.m. Thursday for northeast IN and northwest Ohio. A coastal flood advisory will expire at 10 a.m. Friday.

Those winds are moving ahead of a strong cold front that will bring an inch or two of snow to Flagstaff Friday and drop high temperatures into the teens Saturday.
Rain, wind and mountain snow are expected in San Diego County Thursday afternoon and on Christmas Day as the second storm of the week arrives in the region.
Wednesday is also expected to push record high temperatures, with an expected high in the mid-50s. The record for most 50-degree-plus days in December was set in 1941.
Christmas Day: Partly sunny, with a high near 45. Our unseasonably warm temperatures – today’s high across the state will range between 57 and 65 degrees – are about 30 degrees above normal, the National Weather Service reports. Southwest wind 6 to 14 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 32 miles per hour.
Saturday night – A chance of showers before 8pm, then rain likely after 8pm.

Along the coastline, high tides Thursday and Friday are likely to cause flooding in certain beach areas including Oceanside, South Mission, Imperial, La Jolla Shores and Cardiff-by-the-Sea. There is a slight chance for rain and snow after midnight and a low around 34 degrees, according to the weather service’s forecast for Milwaukee.
