Wind Advisory In Effect Through 1 PM Today
Blizzard Warning | Sustained winds or frequent gusts to 35 mph or more for at least 3 hours and considerable falling and/or blowing snow reducing visibility frequently to less than 1/2 mile.

Winds are also expected to be gusty with a wind advisory in place from about 10 a.m.to 6 p.m.in the Treasure Valley, according to the National Weather Service.
Peak gusts for storm in miles per hour as of 10 a.m.: Bremerton 51, Everett 49, Hoquiam 48, 520 bridge 44, Shelton 45, Seattle 40, Edmonds-Kingston Ferry 53.
In a news release NWS staff wrote, “Winds may be strong enough to damage trees and cause power disruptions”.
A high wind warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected or occurring.
The chance for snow and rain will arrive Saturday, but prior to that, showers are likely, beginning Monday afternoon and continuing through Wednesday. Cross winds on area bridges could create problems for high-profile vehicles. Snow could be heavy at times.
The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a wind advisory for Genesee, Ontario, Livingston and Wyoming counties. We’re expecting 5-8 inches of rain during the day, with isolated spots getting even more.
