Microsoft yesterday announced at the ongoing conference that the anniversary update for Windows 10 will be available later this summer in all the 13 countries and along with features innovations for Windows Ink, Cortana, Windows Hello and gaming. The new functionality will be available in this summer’s Anniversary Update to Windows 10, The Verge reported. The feature might not come to iOS due to operating system restrictions.

Users will, for example, be able to see missed calls and even dismiss incoming notifications if they’re unprepared to deal with them or willing interrupt their flow by picking up the phone.

Bryan Roper, the product manager at Microsoft’s Windows Group, took center stage to detail what the 270 million Windows users can expect this year.

Microsoft showcased the new feature by displaying a Cortana integrated Skype client. Basically Windows 10 will be easier for developers to use, making this a really big deal for coders.

Also coming to Cortana will be new APIs for developers to create integrations for third-party apps. You’ll be able to view and respond to notifications from your phone from Windows… and that’s true whether you’re using a Windows Phone or an Android one.
