Windows 10 Mail about to get much less annoying
That’s a huge number of users, already eclipsing the amount of people still running Windows 8 on their PCs. “We also have an early version in English for Insiders in India, which will be updated with an improved voice later this month”.

If you’ve been wondering how smooth Windows 10 Mobile is on the Michigan 4, then you’re in luck, since a new video has just leaked directly from China. All Windows 10 has left to conquer is Windows 8.1 (which it will easily do by the end of the year) and Windows 7 (probably will take a while longer). It doesn’t appear that the sinking popularity of Edge will recover as user retention is clearly too low to inspire more usage. On August 26, Yusuf Mehdi, corporate vice president of marketing for Microsoft Windows and Devices, announced on Twitter that 75 million devices were running the new OS.
Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)’s new browser known as Edge is having a hard time finding usage despite being the default browser in Windows 10. The duo never even passed the 20 percent market share mark (they peaked at 16.45 percent in May), and with Windows 10 now available, they never will. In Windows 10 Threshold 2 or whatever Microsoft decides to call this November update, users can color those titles bar themselves. According to Net Applications, Windows 10 was running on 5.21 percent of the systems measured by the Web analytics firm in August.
Of course, if Windows 10 is stealing market share, it’s taking it largely from other Windows versions. “Cortana, turn on quiet hours”, is a perfectly good example of this difference in capabilities. Windows Phone enthusiasts have already found a way to get many apps that don’t rely on Google’s Play Services to work.
Finally, there’s Windows 10 Redstone, a much larger Windows 10 release.

It’s no secret that many users are concerned that Windows 10 might violate their privacy by sending personal information to Microsoft, and while Redmond says that everyone has full control of what and when they share, third-party apps that block data collection are becoming more popular.
