One of the main complaints from users was that the update caused their machines to crash or freeze upon start up. To check your settings for Delivery Optimization, go to Settings Update & security Windows Update Advanced options and choosing “Choose how updates are delivered”.

A bunch of unlucky folks hit the rocks as soon as they installed the anniversary upgrade, and duly lit up Microsoft’s support boards. Well, Insider Preview Build 14915 is all about the Improving app and update downloads with Delivery Optimization.
For example, the FAQ notes that “Delivery Optimization uses the same security measures as Windows Update and the Windows Store”. Particularly for PCs with challenging network conditions, this is created to provide a better and more reliable download experience.
Tap on Windows-I to open the Settings application.
Microsoft has also added icons to the lock screen that enable you to play and skip music without having to log in first.

If it still persists, then roll back your PC to the previous Windows 10 version and try reinstalling the Anniversary Update again.
The CU is labeled as KB3176938 and there’s not much more information beyond that on the CU’s associated KB page. The option was listed on devices even before the Anniversary Update was released, so it’s safe to assume that the option existed, but it wasn’t activated up until now. After installation is complete, just reboot the PC. The patch fixing the bug will be automatically applied when you move up to the Anniversary Update.

The CU was made available last night and is available to anyone with a Windows Update connection.
