Windows 10’s Cortana taps into LinkedIn to cure your meeting anxiety

Windows 10 was launched exactly 64 days ago, and during this whole time the new operating system performed decently, with many claiming that it managed to increase its share even faster than Windows 7 – the OS that was, is, and will continue to be the leader of the desktop world for many months from now.

The Cortana and LinkedIn integration is being rolled out today and will be available to anyone who’s using Cortana on Windows 10. This is mostly because of the change Microsoft has brought to the interface of the new Windows.

Net Applications’ data represented 110 million Windows 10 PCs, assuming a total of 1.5 billion Windows devices globally, the figure Microsoft typically trumpets. There are still live tiles present within the start menu, but users have the option to re-size the tiles so they do not take up all the space on the desktop screen and also have the option to completely get rid of the tiles if they wish.

Windows 10 powers about 110 million personal computers, but is dwarfed by older editions, including the retired Windows XP and the perception-plagued Windows 8.
