Windy weather expected for Pittsburgh area
A Severe Wind Advisory will stay in place until 6 p.m. Meanwhile, gusts and downpours may cause traffic problems as residents make their way to work.

Friday: Sunny, with a high near 48.
Saturday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 48.
High pressure will assume control over the region on Saturday, but high temperatures will take a little bit to respond to the added sunshine.
Thursday night will be mostly clear with a low around 33 degrees. Partly sunny with a high near 44. Wind speeds will be between 20 and 35 miles per hour with gusts as high as 45 miles per hour. The forecast for the area states that the chance of precipitation is 100 percent. Generally mostly cloudy, with morning temperatures in the 20s.
There also will be showers and thunderstorms that will move through the area tonight.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 58.
The rain begins to move out around 3 a.m., but a couple of showers may linger into daybreak Thursday.
Tuesday: Cloudy, breezy, warm and humid with a 70% coverage of thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a high near 47. Heavy rain is likely with a chance of tornadoes in the area. The organized rain and showers associated with the main storm system will shift to a widespread lake effect pattern as it departs into eastern Canada. Partly sunny, with a high near 83. The storm is forecast to slowly weaken over the next few days.
No snow is expected in La Crosse at this time.
Meteorologists said thunderstorms are likely between 8 p.m. and midnight Wednesday.

While it’s been hard pressed to get a drop or two of water so far this November, changes are on the way, and that’ll allow for rain and wind to be widespread by tonight and tomorrow.
