Lottery officials say the victor will hold a news conference in Lansing at 10:30 a.m.
“I’m going to take care of my kids”, Leach said.
“I kept trying to focus my eyes on the numbers and dates”, she said.
Leach explained the night she discovered she was the victor. She went back to her manufacturing job and, according to her co-workers, punched out for good.
“I don’t know what to say”.
“I quit automatically”, Leach said. She quickly quit her “nasty, dirty” job at a Michigan fiberglass factory, and said she plans to build houses for her family in Michigan. “We don’t have to work anymore, ‘” Leach said.
The jackpot can be paid over 30 years, or the victor can choose a lump sum of about $197 million before taxes.
The lucky lady is 50-year-old Julie Leech of Three Rivers, Michigan.

The winning numbers were 21, 39, 40, 55, 59 and Powerball 17.
