The National Weather Service is more bearish on the snow, but there’s still plenty in the forecast: the service predicts at least six inches of snow in just 12 hours Friday night. Wisconsin Emergency Management urges everyone to closely watch the forecast as the track of this storm is uncertain and snow total estimates could change. A few snowfall rates of an inch an hour are expected in the hours before sunrise especially for towns in the Watch area before tapering into Saturday morning.
