Wisconsin Agrees to Home-and-Home Series with Syracuse
Syracuse will play Wisconsin in a home-and-home football series in 2020 and 2021 after the schools announced the two-game deal today. The Badgers will then travel to face the Orange at the Carrier Dome on September 11, 2021.

Earlier this summer, various media reports suggested Wisconsin and Syracuse were discussing a football series at some point down the road.
These will be the sixth and seventh all-time meetings between the two programs, and contrary to the programs’ current standings, it’s the Orange who hold the series advantage, 3-1-1, including a 2-1 mark in Madison. On top of that, the Badgers’ future games at BYU and at South Florida have been modified with UW opting to play at BYU in 2017 and at USF in 2019.
UW is scheduled to host Syracuse on September 12, 2020. In fact, Wisconsin’s only win in the series came in 1972, when the Badgers won 31-8 in Madison. And the Badgers will host non-conference games against New Mexico in 2018 and Central Michigan and North Texas in 2019.

Other future home-and-homes Wisconsin has on tap include Washington State (2022 and 2023), Virignia Tech (2024 and 2025) and Hawaii (2022 and 2024).
