Week one of the college football season often features a few cool made-for-tv match-ups at NFL stadiums. A win that players and fans will remember long after the 2016 season is over.

The second interception sealed the win for the Badgers (1-0), who snapped Les Miles’ 42-0 record as LSU’s coach in non-conference, regular season games.

After the stuff of Fournette, Wisconsin promptly drove 15 yards in five plays for a 48-yard field goal by Gaglianone and the 6-0 lead with 54 seconds to go before halftime.

With under 10 minutes to go, the Badgers defense made a pair of clutch plays to get the ball back to the offense for what would be the game-winning field goal drive.

After the INT, Dixon took an illegal hit by LSU’s Josh Boutte.

“I feel like we were out to gain respect, and I think we did it at the end of the day”, linebacker T.J. Watt said.

From what has been reported from camp, Aranda looks to make LSU’s defense the best it has ever been, bringing new energy and a new style to the team. “I think that just gives credit to our coaching staff”.

Either way, the play will likely be reviewed for possible discipline.

Behind the Tigers’ offensive lineman, Fournette finished the game with 23 carries for 123 yards. The LSU Tigers and Wisconsin Badgers will open their season on Saturday at historic Lambeau Field. This will surely put Miles back on the hot seat after he was almost run out of Baton Rouge after a 9-3 season in 2015.

“It was shocking for everybody, but we can’t let one loss determine our season”. “Our goal is to win it all and go undefeated”.

“We knew what was at stake this season”, cornerback Tre’Davious White said. They had chances to punch the ball into the end zone three times in the first half, but Houston was intercepted in the end zone once and UW also settled for two Gaglianone field goals. After the Badgers jumped out to a 13-0 lead, LSU struck quickly late in the third quarter. “Far from flawless, but they just kept playing and found a way just to make plays”, coach Paul Chryst said.

Later, LSU was on offense, going on reverse 3rd and seven, when LSU quarterback Brandon Harris was sacked by a swarm of Badgers.

“I really have to see the film, because it seems to me that there were some guys that were not necessarily blocked”, Miles said.

Corey Clement rushed for 86 yards on 21 carries, and scored the Badgers’ lone touchdown of the game.

Quarterback Brandon Harris dodged left to get out of the way, slipped and then recovered but threw inside of his receiver.

BADGERS DOMINATE FIRST HALF, EARLY THIRD: Wisconsin led 6-0 at the half as it outgained the Tigers 180 to 64 and held the ball for 21 minutes and 52 seconds to 8:08. Jonathan BassJudging from the amount of LSU fans milling around Chicago right now, there won’t be that much of a home field advantage for Wisconsin at Lambeau Field. But what are we? “That’s what we’re built for”, junior safety D’Cota Dixon said. “(We) did a very good job of just keeping focus on what was supposed to be done, and that was to get the victory”. This means that the Tigers are looking to make big things happen in the kicking game in 2016.

For starters, Wisconsin is probably headed back into the AP Top 25 when the next poll comes out on Tuesday.

But… Bowling Green won 10 games a year ago. Lambeau Field plays host to the Tigers and Badgers in what is technically a neutral site game, but Wisconsin expects to have the crowd on their side.
