It was Wisconsin’s first night game at Camp Randall since 2012 and the Badgers (3-1) won their third straight game. Hawaii won the first match-up in 1986, 20-17 but lost the last 5.
Wisconsin started it right and the team is ready to close it out. We just come out and have fun and have a hard practice during the week.
This was another fantastic defensive performance. You get out there and you run. The offense never got anything going and that eventually forced the defense to work some OT. This team must come out running three facets of the game effectively for the whole game.
The Badgers stuck with it against Hawaii, and they’ll likely keep using it as long as it continues to help them gain big chunks of yardage. Clement is sidelined and is expected to undergo sports hernia surgery this week. The Badgers will run base defenses at Hawaii and look to win their individual matchups.
The lights shined brightly above them, but the circumstances for the Wisconsin football defense looked dim. “It was a great way to chew some time off the clock and let them know what’s coming the whole game”.
