“We had great momentum all game, so those two touchdowns really couldn’t put us too far in a funk”, said Wisconsin running back Corey Clement, who finished with 86 yards on 21 carries.

LSU was outgained 339-257, as Wisconsin had a 36:57-23:03 advantage in time of possession.

Two years ago, Wisconsin blew a 17-point lead against LSU in the season opener, falling 28-24.

That meant Wisconsin fans who brought the party to Green Bay were sure to carry on the festivities long into the night. That proved to be detrimental, as LSU only had one timeout remaining, so Harris was forced to pass the ball.

Later, LSU was on offense, going on reverse 3rd and seven, when LSU quarterback Brandon Harris was sacked by a swarm of Badgers.

Browning threw for 277 yards and all three scores in the first half as the Huskies built a 34-3 lead. It was the first major college football game held at Lambeau Field.

For the LSU fans that made the long trek up north, they could only scratch their heads about what could have been.

Instead, LSU got what it deserved, and the speculation can begin on if Miles will survive the season.

After maintaining possession for 13:07 in the opening quarter, Wisconsin was in position to break a scoreless tie early in the second quarter.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Trevor Knight threw for 239 yards and a touchdown and ran for two more scores, including one in overtime, to lead Texas A&M past UCLA in his debut with the Aggies. In fact, it was an interception thrown by Harris in the final minute of the game that sealed LSU’s fate.

They didn’t play their best game against LSU, but they played good enough against the 5th ranked team in the country. He became the fastest LSU player to reach 3,000 career rushing yards and had his 16th career 100-yard game, fourth-most in LSU history. He booted back-to-back punts of 25 and then 30 yards in the third quarter.

Louisiana Tech took a 20-14 lead in the third quarter after a 20-yard field goal by kicker Jonathan Barnes.

Shelton and junior cornerback Derrick Tindal did an excellent job on coverage against the LSU wide receiver tandem of Travin Dural and Malachi Dupre, who combined for 74 yards on eight receptions. Les Miles almost lost his job after a disappointing 2015 season, and now he is sure to be right back on the hot seat like he never left it. Cameron Gamble, who battled a back injury during preseason camp, averaged 61 yards on three kickoffs, and he kicked one out of bounds in the second half.

WIS-Gaglianone 48 yard field goal, 0:54.

ANN ARBOR, MICH. – Wilson Speight went from humbled to exalted in a hurry during his first start as quarterback for MI in the season opener against Hawaii. The Tigers had used an interception return to get on the board, then picked up a fumble less than a minute later to start a drive at the UW 41.

“Give credit to our defense”.

Clement, in particular, played with an edge. But he never reached the end zone as the LSU offense scored just seven points. Auburn finally got a touchdown with 3:22 left on a 9-yard direct snap run by Kerryon Johnson and Clemson’s failed fourth-down try deep in Auburn territory set up another shot with 40 seconds left and 85 yards to go. White traversed the field and leaped into the endzone to give LSU its first score of the game. Wisconsin quarterback Bart Houston – named after legendary Packers quarterback Bart Starr – threw two costly interceptions but was ideal when it mattered most.

Fournette appeared to recover quickly and was walking around on the sidelines.

Wisconsin had a 13-0 lead and a firm grip on the game before things changed midway through the third quarter. Wisconsin scored its only touchdowns five plays later.

The Badgers worked the ball on a third down run closer to the center of the field, and Rafael Gaglianone put the Badgers in front with a 47-yard field goal that split the uprights with 3:47 left to play.
