Witcher 3 Expansions Will Provide Roughly The Same Size Content As Witcher

The next patch, which would be Patch 1.07, is expected to address issues on the game.

Community manager at CD Projekt RED, Marcin Momot, has spoken on the subject in the past, revealing it had been talked about by the team, but that there was no guarantee it would ever become a reality.

As for why the developer had to delay the release of this downloadable content, as mentioned in our report last week, CD Projekt Red said that they need all the help they can to prepare for the upcoming massive 1.07 patch for “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”. The first is Rocksteady’s wonderful “Batman: Arkham Knight” and “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” on Sony Corp’s (ADR) (NYSE:SNE) PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Corp’s (NASDAQ:MSFT) Xbox One.

You have to love how transparent the entire process has been since the release of the game, meaning that even delays like the Ciri costume DLC don’t cause much ire in gamers. Along with this update, don’t forget to download your free Witcher DLC for the week.

There wasn’t any free DLC planned for released last week as CD Projekt Red wanted to focus on releasing the major Patch 1.07.

“I think it’s possible that they will be bigger because it’s always like this (that when we plan some time or hours, it’s twice or something like this), but I’m not promising anything right now”, he continued.

While CDPR has been releasing weekly DLC packs containing items, equipment, and cosmetic additions, there are two larger DLC packs, titled Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, confirmed for release in October of 2015 and early 2016 respectively.
