Witcher’s Xbox One/PC Card Game Beta Delayed, New Start Date Revealed

CD Projekt Red has made a decision to delay the closed beta test for Gwent: The Witcher Card Game. CD Projekt Red have today announced that it will be delayed until late October. While this is still just the closed beta, the team working on Gwent wants to make sure that plenty of bugs are ironed out before any gamers get their hands on the title. It’s a winning strategy – The Witcher 3 was a resounding favorite when it came to 2015’s game of the year plaudits.
Gwent is a card game introduced in The Witcher 3, where players deploy “armies” from their customized decks in an attempt to kill off their opponent.

The developer added that it understands delays “can be disappointing” and apologized for making fans wait a while longer. The full game will also be available for PS4 but do not have access to the closed beta which, if you haven’t already, can be signed up to here.
