The reigning MVP sat out the game with a bruised left shin.

Warriors guard Klay Thompson claimed his individual battle with Houston guard James Harden, while forward Draymond Green produced his National Basketball Association (NBA) league-leading fifth triple-double in a 114-110 win over the Rockets at Toyota Centre that proved both gratifying and redemptive. He and James Harden traded baskets all evening, as the Golden State Warriors were able to do something the Rockets couldn’t seem to accomplish: making plays down the stretch. The loss was just the Warriors’ second this season.

Curry missed the game due to an injury.

Green was asked whether he’s out to steal Curry’s job. “We had great looks”.

Walton hinted that he may rest Curry again Thursday, a move the erratic Rockets surely won’t object.

The Mavericks, a pleasantly surprising team this season, beat the Warriors to hand them the second loss of the season 114-91.

He contributed 6 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists.

The Suns had six players score in double figures.

Houston led by 3 points about 3 minutes later when Golden State scored 10 consecutive points to take a 88-80 lead with less than a minute left in the quarter. Klay Thompson carried Golden State, scoring 17 points on 7/9 shooting.

Harden got 30 points for the Rockets, but the team has lost seven straight regular-season games to the Warriors.

Jennings was playing his second game, and his first at home since rupturing his left Achilles tendon in January.

Will Barton, traded by Portland to Denver last season, led the Nuggets with 31 points.

“He’s one of those rare players in this league that affects the entire game just by being on the court”, Walton said.

“Obviously, without him the spacing won’t be as good”. “That’s probably going to be a game-time decision or at least determined on how he’s feeling tomorrow”. Close game as it’s tied with 5 minutes left in the third.

“It’s been an incredible experience and it’s been a lot of fun”, he said. Reserve forward Andre Iguodala had 20 points on 6-for-7 shooting plus four assists. It required a second four-point play from Harden, this one with 37.4 seconds left, for the Rockets to pull even at 59-59. It was nearly 15. In this game, Livingston scored 13 points which is not exactly replacing Curry’s production.

Kerr, who has been recovering from complications following offseason back surgery, was with the team on a multigame trip for the first time this season. He had 26 points and 12 rebounds on Monday in a win over the Miami Heat. Burke connected on 12 of 19 shots, and Gordon Hayward had 23 points and 10 rebounds.
