Without Manning, Broncos beat Patriots in OT

This Sunday’s AFC Championship Game between the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos will feature arguably the two greatest quarterbacks to ever play in the NFL.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is hit late by Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller (58), drawing a penalty, after being sacked by defensive end Vance Walker during the teams’ November 29 meeting in Denver.

Brock Osweiler will probably not play this time, but is this year’s version of Peyton Manning going to be enough to beat a Tom Brady-led team?

Meanwhile, Arizona Cardinals take on the Carolina Panthers in the other National Football League match live on Sky Sports on Sunday, and Panthers quarterback Cam Newton insists he is unfazed ahead of his first NFC Championship game. This is the 17th time Brady and Manning will face each other, the fifth time in the playoffs.

The rivalry has taken on the aura of a heavyweight title fight, even though the two men are never in the ring at the same time and have both made it clear it is the Patriots against the Broncos, not Manning v Brady. After Brady won the first two, including the 2003 AFC Championship Game, Manning has won the last two.

It’s the IVth time they will meet in the AFC Championship Game. But they kind of do, and Brady’s way better than Manning is right now.

Arizona vs Carolina- The Cardinals are coming off a 26-20 overtime win against the Green Bay Packers, where they did not play their best. “It’s just the point Peyton is at in his career”. It’s always a challenge going out and playing anybody on the road, but especially a team that is as talented as they are.

That’s it for live streams of this Sunday’s Patriots-Broncos game. “I think it’s a good call starting Manning”.

Five of eight CBS analysts/writers predicted a Patriots win, with Pete Prisco calling a two-point win for Denver. In fact, home teams win more than 75% of the games that Hochuli presides over.

And while they may appear to be heading in opposite directions – Brady, at 38, had one of his finest seasons this year while Manning, 39, had perhaps his worst while batting injuries – the Patriots know better than to overlook Manning’s leadership and abilities. Regardless of the outcome, I hope it’s a classic, because this series deserves it. Anyway, this game will be decided at the line of scrimmage.

The game will ultimately be decided by New England’s receivers against Denver’s corners.

Overall, Kubiak felt the Broncos “had really good energy” in practice throughout the week. Many people say that this might be the last matchup between these two quarterbacks but people say that every time they matchup.
