I am writing to share information about the district’s response to the active shooter incident at Excel Industries earlier this evening. Six victims were transported to Via Christi Hospital.

Newton Medical Center in Newton received four patients. One Goh was charged with seven counts of murder and three counts of attempted murder, but psychiatric evaluations concluded he suffered from long-term paranoid schizophrenia and was unfit to stand trial. Four people were taken to Newton Medical Center, a spokeswoman there said, three in good condition and one in fair condition. All are in stable condition.
The gunman was “running through the plant just going insane with a gun….just randomly shooting people”, McCaskill said.
The friend yelled “hey” at a bystander nearby and then shot that person.
“There was a report of a stolen vehicle”.
We want to get the people that are so concerned that their loved ones have been shot or hurt.
Cedric’s Facebook page identified him as a painter at Excel Industries, and showcases photos of him holding two guns, including what seems to be an assault rifle.
At least four people were killed and up to 30 wounded when a gunman opened fire at a lawn mower factory in a small Kansas town, police has said.
“The shooter has been shot and killed”.
Ford was killed by autorities inside the Excel Industries building 26 minutes after the first shooting was reported, the sheriff said. Officers killed the shooter. He left the building through a side door.
The gunman, who has not yet been identified by police, opened fire at the plant Thursday afternoon and is among the dead.

“Everybody says it can’t happen here, but it’s all those places that it happens at”, Walton said.
The woman, who did not give her name, said: “I’ve been through quite a bit but nothing like that; that’s terrifying”. Her daughter had called and told her there was a shooting and she was taking cover.

McCaskill said he did not know the gunman personally, but he had seen him around. Residents are asked to avoid the area.
