The names of the victims haven’t been released by authorities. Family and friends have identified them, however.

Jason Farese was a private pilot first certified in 2004, and the plane was registered to a company that shares an address with his Oxford dental office, Federal Aviation Administration records showed.

The victims were three married couples flying home to Oxford, Mississippi, from a dental conference in Kissimmee, Florida.

There were six people on board the small plane- three males and three females- when it crashed Sunday, according to Northport Fire Chief Bart Marshal. Investigators said the weather did not appear to be a factor in the crash, because it was all clear at the time of the crash.

“Right now we’re documenting the scene, examining the aircraft, looking at the radar information, and listening to eyewitness statements”, Holloway said.

Kenmer said they should finish removing wreckage within the next day or so, hoping to clean it all by Tuesday night.

A preliminary report on the crash is expected by August 25, with the final report taking a year.

The couples had 11 children between them.

Kevin Hooper said the death of his close friend, Dr. Michael Perry, came as a complete shock. Jason is a native Ashland, MS, while Lea was raised in Pearl.

Dentist Dr. Austin Poole and his wife, Angie Poole, were parents of five children. The Washington Post reported that not long after, the plane went down, “short of a runway at Tuscaloosa Regional Airport” in Alabama. “Life can be so uncertain, so we depend on the blessing of eternal life and reuniting. May God assuage the families’ sorrow and hold them all in the palm of his hand”.

“Please join us in praying for the children and families of Dr. and Mrs. Michael Perry, Drs”.
