In Arizona’s 77-70 win at Arizona State last Thursday, Trier supplemented the efforts of freshman phenom DeAndre Ayton (25 points, 16 rebounds, four assists and three blocked shots) with 19 points, five assists and three rebounds. I hate losing, obviously, but I think the way we played, the way we shared the ball.

With 57 seconds left and the Wizards only up three, Scott Brooks called a masterful play after timeout play to go up five. He instead played a season in Australia before suiting up for the Celtics’ G-League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws. JR Smith scored 15 and Tristan Thompson finished with 12 points and nine rebounds for the Cavaliers.

Kelly Oubre Jr. had another great game off the bench, scoring 12 of his 17 points before the half. Thus, the team’s management chose to go all-in and to start from the beginning instead of wasting their time trying to fix the heavily discordant group of people. Instead, the Wizards held onto a three-point lead, 82-79.

LeBron James led all scorers with 32 points, but this time he didn’t get a ton of help from his new friends. The same went for James, who saw major dips in production in January while the Cavs struggled.

“I’m probably about two weeks out from getting this movable cast off for good, and then from there about a few weeks after that before I get back”, Love said. Curry hit 14-of- 19 shots, including 8-of-11 from deep, in his third 40-point game of the season. “We’re anticipating that we’re [the next] in line and we’ll get one, and soon”.

The revamped Cavaliers had received a boost by acquiring George Hill, Rodney Hood, Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr.at the February 8 trade deadline. “Just got to be smart about it so guys get their rest, but also make sure we’re teaching and letting guys come in so they’ll be able to pick up what we’re trying to do”.
