Wladimir Klitschko: Reigning heavyweight champions pulls out of Tyson Fury fight

Due to Sky’s commitment to have both Kell Brook and Klitschko v Fury on their pay-per-view format, there had been question marks on whether the top division clash could take place this year, although Peter says Sky are now weighing up their options.

Tyson, known for his outrageous remarks on Twitter, used social media to campaign for votes just days after his planned world heavyweight title fight was postponed.

The 27-year-old Fury, unbeaten with 18 knockouts in 24 wins, is bidding to become the first fighter since Lamon Brewster on April 10, 2004 to defeat the 1.98-meter (6-foot-6) Klitschko.

But Klitschko has assured his latest challenger that he will defend his WBA, IBF and WBO belts when he is fit enough to resume training.

Klitschko extended his apologies to the fans and also to Fury, who will have to wait a little longer for his title shot.

It was announced on Friday that the fight would not go ahead on October 24th, as originally scheduled, due to the fact that the champion had sustained a partial tear to his left calf.

“I garanteed the end users before them their ancestors it’s should be a fact therapy for David Haye knowing that it’d make him a much better person”, Klitschko said. The tickets which have already been sold will remain valid. “Batman worked a treat then and cost me a big fight”.
